Workshop: Storytelling Workshops
Anna's storytelling workshops were a great success with children and adults. All members of staff I spoke to said Anna was really good and from what I saw she had the children were captivated. The children had a great time. There was lots of laughter and audience participation. She adapted the sessions well for each different age group and when I spoke to her she said she was impressed with how responsive the children were to her. So, altogether a great day- thank you! Best wishes

Workshop: Greek Warfare Workshop
Hello Tony, Just a line to say thank you for the wonderful day you gave us at St Aidan's on 6th November. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and have been buzzing all week since. We have put together a display including writing, photos and of course the helmets and shields. The whole school has complimented the children on the high quality of their work and I know the head teacher has been suitably impressed. I have attached some photos of the display as promised. Thank you again I totally enjoyed the day and appreciate the time you must have put in preparing for the lessons.

Hello David, Just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful workshop with our Year 1 children. I was really impressed with the content and the pace of the morning sessions. They all achieved so much and the range of instruments they got to experience was really impressive. We have had messages from parents stating how excited the children were when they were telling them all about their day. Thanks again for a great day. Kind regards.
Ellen.

Workshop: Dance workshops
Many thanks for all your assistance with our dance workshops today. Krupa was AMAZING she did an outstanding job and was wonderful with the students. She has that something special with SEN students, the ability adapt to their needs, I saw this in one workshop towards the end of the day where 3 students in wheelchairs were able to really enjoy the routine, that I noted she had adapted to include more upper rather than lower body movements. Thank you to Krupa and Zest.

Workshop: CSI Forensic Science STEM Workshops for Schools
I would like to thank you again for the wonderful forensic science workshop you ran on Monday to a group of Year 6 students. I am always amazed by the amount of kit you bring – the students are very lucky to learn about and experience first-hand the wide range of techniques you cover. They are engaged from start to finish, but clearly, the highlight is the afternoon session when they dress in their scene of crime white suits, gloves, overshoes and mask to solve the crime scene you prepare for each group. The comments I heard at the end of the day- “wonderful”, “amazing”, “awesome”, ” so cool”- sum up their experience. We look forward to welcoming you back next year!

Olivia is a real pleasure to work with, not just delivering above and beyond in engaging the students, but her professionalism in being there on time, on message and working with us in every sense.

The workshops were great again this year. I did not get a chance to see Benny before he left as I was in a meeting. Could you please pass on a huge thanks from us all? I am sure I will be back in touch with you later in the year to book other workshops. Children absolutely loved these mask making sessions- had a super time- responded well to teachers calm approach.

Workshop: Ancient Egyptians
The workshop was amazing the children even now cannot stop talking about it. What I personally liked is the way that you brought to life the Egyptians with your artefacts, paintings and writing. The children liked the hieroglyphic writing, and display which we put together in the hall for all to see is still there and children still look and talk about it. It was one perfect day, I myself learned so much and I thank you for that.

How Much Does School Workshops Cost?
The cost to host a workshop in school can vary between £150.00 and £850.00 depending on the length of the sessions, the type of workshop, and the expenses incurred. Typical costs based on length are shown below. Please note that not all providers offer sessions of the following lengths. Check the costs on each workshop page for more information.
- One Hour: £150.00 - £250.00*
- Half-Day: £250.00 - £350.00 *
- Full-Day: £350.00 - £850.00*
*an estimated range based on the average provider.
Understanding the Costs
School workshop providers have many costs, including materials, travel, accommodation, parking expenses, administrative expenses, vehicle maintenance, advertising, and more. When a workshop instructor visits a school, they are usually unable to visit another venue the same day. Therefore, most educational providers apply fixed charges for school visits, and some providers may charge other expenses on top of their nominal fixed rates.
