Y3 - Y6, Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Our Anglo-Saxon workshop offers students a chance to explore history by handling real weapons, equipment, and artefacts. They'll also take part in activities like a Witan meeting, with the highlight being a session on battle formations and tactics.
We provide a full day of activities for up to three classes, ensuring an immersive experience. The workshop starts with an introduction from an Anglo-Saxon warrior, who will explain the use of weapons, shields, helmets, and armour. The rest of the day is filled with interactive sessions that bring the history to life.

Ancient Egyptian, Maya, Ancient Greek, Roman & Kings and Queens workshops +£10 per class (to cover the cost of resources used, such as papyrus, clay, ink, bark paper).

Leigh came to our school today to deliver the Anglo Saxon and Viking workshop. From start to end all the children were engaged. All the resources were excellent quality, including the ones we were given to lead. Leigh explained everything clearly and was amazing with the children. The day was summed up brilliantly when one child asked where Leigh was when they were taught Romans! Thank you for a fantastic day. We all loved every minute!
