Indian Head Massage Workshops

Indian Head Massage originated over a thousand years ago in India, offering numerous physical and psychological benefits. Introduced to the UK in the 1970s, it involves massage of the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp, and face. The technique, adaptable with or without oils, induces deep relaxation, reducing stress and tension. Tailored for pupils and young people, it addresses stress-related conditions prevalent in educational settings.

These workshops, akin to the Peer massage programme, concentrate on the head, shoulders, and neck, offering a one-off session to promote wellbeing.
