School Workshops Testimonials
Workshop: World History Plays for KS2
Absolutely fantastic! The children were fully engaged from beginning to end. The children learnt so much and it was fantastic to see them making links and putting everything into context. The props and costumes were fantastic and the repetition of key facts really helped the children remember what they saw. A great idea to pause to discuss what they had seen and their ideas. It really helped to keep them engaged. The drama session kept everyone engaged and there is a lot for us to develop in future lessons.

Workshop: The History of Britain play for Primary Schools.
The performance was produced to a high standard and engaged all pupils. It was age appropriate for LKS2 and UKS2, keeping all children engaged and entertained. During the performance the actors were fast moving and energetic. They interacted with the pupils and asked for pupil interaction. At the end of the show children were able to successfully order the historical events. This demonstrated their understanding of their new learning. Overall it was an extremely enjoyable performance.

Workshop: Storytelling Workshops
Anna's storytelling workshops were a great success with children and adults. All members of staff I spoke to said Anna was really good and from what I saw she had the children were captivated. The children had a great time. There was lots of laughter and audience participation. She adapted the sessions well for each different age group and when I spoke to her she said she was impressed with how responsive the children were to her. So, altogether a great day- thank you! Best wishes

Workshop: KS1 Traditional Tales. Play and Workshop.
This production is an excellent introduction to live theatre for the youngest children in our school. It kept the attention and engagement of 80 EYFS children throughout (including children with SEN). The length of the performance, followed by the workshop, was ideal. Also we appreciated the phonics focus on P! All the children enjoyed joining in with the workshop activities and learnt somehting about drama and acting in the process. Thank you Hobgoblin!

Workshop: Drum and Dance
Hello David, Just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful workshop with our Year 1 children. I was really impressed with the content and the pace of the morning sessions. They all achieved so much and the range of instruments they got to experience was really impressive. We have had messages from parents stating how excited the children were when they were telling them all about their day. Thanks again for a great day. Kind regards.
Ellen.

How Much Does School Workshops Cost?
The cost to host a workshop in school can vary between £150.00 and £850.00 depending on the length of the sessions, the type of workshop, and the expenses incurred. Typical costs based on length are shown below. Please note that not all providers offer sessions of the following lengths. Check the costs on each workshop page for more information.
- One Hour: £150.00 - £250.00*
- Half-Day: £250.00 - £350.00 *
- Full-Day: £350.00 - £850.00*
Understanding the Costs
School workshop providers have many costs, including materials, travel, accommodation, parking expenses, administrative expenses, vehicle maintenance, advertising, and more. When a workshop instructor visits a school, they are usually unable to visit another venue the same day. Therefore, most educational providers apply fixed charges for school visits, and some providers may charge other expenses on top of their nominal fixed rates.
