Nursery Little STEAMers Sessions School Workshops

We believe in turning tiny hands and curious minds into tomorrow’s STEM Heroes

Our award-winning sessions are designed and led by early years specialists, research-backed and tailored to the 3 - 5 years age group.

You can opt for online sessions on your choice of topic to lead in your own setting. Or with our in-person workshops, we can come to you regularly or as a one-off, at a time that suits you.

Our self-led sessions are designed to keep your prep time low. We use resources you'll have available in your setting, and we'll give your staff clear guidance on how to help. If we come in person, we'll do everything!

Impress your parents with Parent Information sheets, printable Display Materials, a STEAM logo for your website and even Learning Journals and certificates to send home!

Little STEAMers Sessions

In our in-person sessions, we introduce scientific ideas through stories, movement, singing and engaging demonstrations that capture children’s curiosity and imagination.

Children then take part in age-appropriate, hands-on activities that are simple to set up and designed to encourage exploration, play and deeper understanding, helping to embed the concepts they have discovered.

Alongside one-off workshops, we also offer a regular visits programme, with sessions delivered monthly or once per term, supporting schools in building progression, confidence and sustained engagement in STEM learning over time.

Schools choosing a regular programme receive additional resources and ongoing support for Nursery staff, including simple activities and ideas to use between visits. These are designed to reinforce workshop learning, extend children’s curiosity and help create meaningful links between sessions.

Our CPD training can be delivered in person as a twilight session or INSET programme, tailored to your setting and staff needs.

For greater flexibility, schools can also access our pre-recorded self-led CPD sessions, providing an affordable way to deliver training at a time and pace that works for you.

Testimonials

The session was delivered really well, and the children were engaged throughout the lessons. Thank you so much for the amazing experience.

Miss H, Nursery Teacher

My preschool children loved Little Steamers coming into our setting. From the moment Susie arrived, engaging them in various activities to the butterflies at the end. It was really good and I would fully recommend it
