Online Safety & Children Safeguarding Speaker for Schools

We were pleased to welcome George Nicolaou as a guest speaker at our college as part of our safeguarding unit. He delivered an incredibly powerful and heartfelt presentation to both our young learners and our mature students, many of whom are parents. George bravely shared his own personal tragedy to raise awareness of the dangers of online grooming, offering our students a real and deeply moving insight into the risks young people face in the digital world. His ability to turn such a painful experience into an educational and protective message was truly inspiring. His presentation was engaging, emotionally charged, and delivered with authenticity and compassion. George spoke with clarity and purpose, holding the attention of everyone in the room from beginning to end. He created a safe and open environment, encouraging students to reflect, ask questions, and discuss their concerns at the end of the session. The feedback from students has been very positive. Many commented on how impactful his story was and how much more aware and informed they now feel. We are extremely grateful to George for sharing his experience with such courage and for helping educate our learners about this vital safeguarding issue. It was a meaningful session that left a lasting impression on us all.

We had a year 11 assembly, who are usually a fairly lively and talkative bunch, but when we delivered your assembly there was utter silence as they took on board and absorbed everything you were saying. Your passion, knowledge and ability to communicate your important message in a fun and engaging way, to both young people and adults, has been a huge benefit to our school community.
