Jungle - SEND Inclusive Sensory Workshop for Schools

Workshops for Children with Special Educational Needs

Join Maurice the monkey as he travels through the jungle trying to find the big baboon banana bonanza party. Have fun meeting new friends, like butterflies, snakes, elephants and parrots along the way. Feel the vines and leaves around you whilst you hear and see the wonders of the jungle. Our Artsmark-accredited workshops help those who are sensory seekers to explore subjects through performance and interaction. All of our workshops take the format of a very simple narrative exploring the particular theme. We work to a basic framework but are guided by the pupil’s responses, taking time with each individual and making an offer of engagement. If they choose to accept the offer we help them explore that particular sensory element. We provide social visual stories ahead of the workshop to help your learners prepare for our visit. For a fee, we can create a bespoke workshops themed around your learners' particular interests or curriculum.
