Our workshops can cover inventing, engineering, coding and design for KS1 and KS2 and a variety of additional science topics for early years both in schools and nurseries.

Tailored Workshops

We tailor every workshop to your school. Simply tell us your current topics, and we’ll weave them into our engaging activities to make learning even more meaningful.

We can visit your school for a half day or several days, delivering a mixture of workshops and assemblies across a range of year groups. Or, for maximum flexibility and budget-friendliness, we offer virtual and self-led workshops that can be accessed anywhere in the UK.

Thanks to our growing team of Inventioneers, we’re now able to offer in-person workshops in Tyneside, Reading, Haywards Heath, and Oxford, as well as our nationwide online options.

British Science Week 

Inventors & Makers have a collection of brand new workshops for British Science Week 2026 for use with N-Y6. 

Explore our range of workshops linked to the 2026 theme 'Curiosity...what's your question?', from our brand new Understanding AI workshops, to our tried and tested workshops developing curiosity in engineering and design. 

Workshops include:

- British Science Week 2026: Our brand new Understanding Artificial Intelligence workshops, or explore our range of workshops below, many of which have an element linked to curiosity(Nursery to Y6)

- Engineering with Energy & the Environment (for EY, KS1 & KS2)

- Coding and Video Game Design (for UKS2)

- Coding & Robotics (for KS1 & KS2)

- Coding & Games (for LKS2)

- Coding Unplugged (for EY, KS1 & KS2)

- Invention & Design (for KS1 & KS2)

- Various STEAM Themes for EYFS (including Nurseries) including space, dinosaurs, engineering, coding unplugged, life cycles, weather, water, and Chemistry.

- Assemblies are also available to support the workshops.

- Teachers CPD including Engineering in the Classroom, using micro:bits, Crumbles and AI.

Cost

We aim to fit everyone's budget and can tailor what you want to fit your budget. We can run regular sessions in nurseries or EYFS, or an hour's workshop.

Some schools use our virtual clubs to raise funds for DT and Computing in their setting.
