Format and Delivery
We typically split the total number of children (up to 200) into groups and rotate them throughout the school day or event. Therefore, the session lengths may differ. At the start of each session, the STEM instructor will give a short demonstration on how to use the STEM items. Everything will be set up in advance. Each table will have clear instructions, although most activities are very straightforward since all materials are pre-prepared.
Some Examples:
- Sling rockets: Children can pick them up and launch them straight away.
- Mini robots: These will be pre-programmed so children can immediately use the remote controls to drive them.
- Microscopes: These will already be focused, allowing children to look through and observe plant or bacteria cells.
- Aircraft gliders: Children can pick them up and throw them to explore how wing flaps affect motion
