Interactive Tudor Workshop for Schools – Hands-On History Experience
Step back in time with our immersive Tudor Workshop! Designed for schools, this hands-on experience brings history to life with engaging activities, including weapon handling, archery, Tudor board games, and more. Led by expert reenactors, students will explore the world of the Tudors through interactive learning. Whether handling replica armour or mastering Tudor dancing, this workshop offers an an engaging educational experience. All resources are provided, making it hassle-free for schools to enjoy.

Introduction
Our skilled workshop leader will showcase an impressive array of Tudor weaponry, captivating the audience with their expertise in combat! With extensive experience in medieval reenactment, our leaders have spent countless hours mastering the use of historical weapons. If you choose to book David (King Henry VIII), this introduction will be transformed into a grand Royal Entrance, complete with fanfare.
Workshop Activities
Weapons and Armour Exploration: Pupils will have the exciting opportunity to handle a variety of replica Tudor weapons and armour. This hands-on experience allows them to get up close with history—perfect for memorable photos with some truly formidable Tudor weaponry!
Weapons Drill: Pupils will be put to the test as they learn how to wield a Tudor weapon effectively. Can they march in formation, follow battlefield commands, and prove their skills in a mock battle? If you book David (Henry VIII), this session will be replaced with Tudor Dancing, as he is a master of the art!
Tudor Games: Pupils will be introduced to two popular Tudor board games before putting their skills to the test in a fun and interactive session of historical gameplay.
Archery Challenge: Renowned for their legendary longbow skills, English archers were among the best in history. Can your pupils match their ancestors’ abilities? Using modern bows and suction arrows, they will take aim at targets, just as Tudor hunters once did on their expeditions!

Ancient Egyptian, Maya, Ancient Greek, Roman & Kings and Queens workshops +£10 per class (to cover the cost of resources used, such as papyrus, clay, ink, bark paper).
Prices include travel, unless the only available workshop leader is too great a distance away from your school. We will then email you to inform you of the price to see if you still wish to go ahead.
