Workshop Activities

Her workshops are immersiveeducational experiences that develop creative, curious learners and help them respond to history by imaginative connecting to a different time period. Whether looking for a lost suitcase during the evacuation, riding the high seas with Viking warriors or buying and selling goods at the agora in ancient Greece, Beth uses her experience with drama, storytelling and music to bring history to life!

As a facilitator, Beth champions a way of connecting to the past through suspending disbelief and transporting ourselves to real life places, stories and events and through this deciding what we do and don’t share with our ancestors.

Excellent research and resources mean throughout the session there will be opportunities to make traditional crafts with authentic materials, learn period language terms and expressions, experience horrible history facts, listen to musical instruments and sing rousing songs!
