Step back in time with our Kings & Queens Workshop. Led by David Smith as Henry VIII, this full-day experience immerses students in royal history through hands-on activities like coin minting, Tudor dancing, and archery. With interactive storytelling and engaging tasks, students will explore England’s monarchs in a fun, educational way they’ll never forget.

King Henry VIII will make a grand entrance with fanfare and greet the students with an engaging speech, introducing them to the day's royal activities.
Kings & Queens of England: The kids will get to handle beautifully laser-engraved wooden images of each King and Queen of England. They'll read up on the facts and then work together to place them in the right order.
Coin Minting: Using clay, the children will create their own royal coins, featuring a portrait of their chosen King or Queen on one side, and a coat of arms on the other. All materials are provided, and they get to keep their finished coin!
Tudor Dancing: The kids will learn some Tudor dance moves! First, they'll watch King Henry VIII and other costumed dancers, then they'll get the chance to try it themselves with music.
Archery: Channeling the legendary skills of English Longbowmen, the children will use modern bows to fire suction arrows at targets, just like they’re on a Tudor hunting trip!
